That’s why we’re incredibly grateful to celebrate an important milestone this year: 20 years of BBB Accreditation with the Better Business Bureau Heart of Texas.

Receiving recognition for two decades of accreditation is an honor, but to us, it’s also a reminder of what has always mattered most. Since opening our doors in 1999, our goal has never been to collect awards. It’s been to serve homeowners and business owners throughout San Antonio, TX with honesty, integrity, and craftsmanship that we’re proud to put our name on.

What Does BBB Accreditation Mean?

Many people recognize the Better Business Bureau name, but not everyone knows what BBB Accreditation represents.

BBB Accreditation is a voluntary commitment to operating a business with honesty, transparency, responsiveness, and ethical business practices. Accredited businesses agree to uphold the BBB Standards for Trust, which are designed to help consumers identify businesses they can feel confident working with.

For customers, it provides another layer of reassurance that the company they’re considering values accountability and long-term relationships, not just completing the next project.

A Legacy Built on Craftsmanship and Integrity

The values that guide Hendrick Painting today didn’t begin with our accreditation. They began long before the company itself.

Our story traces back to Dan Hendrick’s grandfather, Bryce McMasters, who discovered his passion for painting after serving in the Air Force during World War II. After receiving formal training and building a successful painting business in New York, Bryce eventually moved to Texas, where he continued his career and became known for his commitment to quality workmanship and strong leadership.

Inspired by his grandfather’s craftsmanship and his mother Elyse’s appreciation for art, Dan founded Hendrick Painting in 1999 with a simple vision: provide exceptional painting services while treating every customer with honesty, respect, and professionalism.

More than 25 years later, those values continue to guide every member of our team.

We’ve been fortunate to work on homes and commercial properties throughout San Antonio, TX and surrounding communities including Helotes, Alamo Heights, Boerne, Stone Oak, Castroville, and New Braunfels.

Some customers call us to refresh a single bedroom. Others trust us with whole-home interior painting, exterior painting, cabinet refinishing, or commercial painting projects.
